šŸˆ GAME THREAD Alabama vs Ole Miss - ESPN at 6:30 CT

I don’t think this Ole Miss squad is a cellar dweller. No way they don’t blast LSU, Auburn, and maybe even State if they prepare and execute like they did for Alabama.

I honestly believe what we’re seeing across the SEC as a whole on defenses is a lack of spring/summer ball. There’s countless hours of work that are gone - lost continuity, teamwork, anticipation, and fundamentals hours. I think Alabama, Florida, LSU, Auburn, etc. defenses will get better as the season progresses. There’s glimmers of hope out there - flashes of execution. We can’t get hung up on one game where a former assistant game planned his heart out and an offense masterfully executed that plan to cause widespread panic and reactionary dismissal of coaches, players, or a season.
Settle in - it’s a long season in the midst of a pandemic. Every team on the schedule has a tough road to hoe and large question marks in several facets of their team. Trust that we have at the helm the greatest coach at the college level - he’ll improve this team.

they are ....and have been...in the cellar of the sec ....period
Sure they will improve.. but the covid n lack of spring is just another excuse...
Excuses...

ahhh did your panties wad up again?

Yeah, you busted me. From a guy attempting to call someone out for a misspelt word that they clearly did on purpose. Go find a clue somewhere. Start down there in your room in the basement of your momma's house. Someone posting like you have the last twelve hours for the first time in six years clearly isn't all there together, so go do some soul searching squirt.

Ole Miss is not bottom of the barrel. Losing to LSU, Auburn, and us is something 98% of teams in the rest of the country would do on a yearly basis. The game they played last night was pretty solid. We made mistakes, but they had a killer game plan and executed on offense. We knew their defense gave up yards, but their offense would gain yards, we just didn't expect that many. Remember when @TerryP specifically wrote about this days before the game?

speaking of squirt...tell ur wife to stop calling me. I mean I understand she's addicted to my cock but it's not my fault she married a micro chode. 🤷

Gee, how did I expect a low level comment like that? Refer back to my age limit request for an account here and now you may understand it. We get it, you're the cool guy out of your two friends. I feel sorry for the unfortunate thing that gets with you, poor thing doesn't have a chance.

Oh Mr Philosophical here... listen I admit on the misspell comment that was my bad...so my apologies to that dude. You on the other hand, well you just seem like a dick. However I'm willing to drop it if you are? Let me ask a relevant question here...do you think Golding needs to go? Strong is on staff and I wish a change was made. Any one else care to offer thoughts on that?

I wasn't a fan of Golding last year, so agree with you that he wasn't the guy I wanted this year. It was hard to argue our injuries at linebacker caused some issues, but that is clearly not the issue as we aren't strong this year thus far. I don't necessarily see Strong being a guy that transforms our defense, because Texas nor South Florida fielded strong defenses from what I recall, but I would have to think any adjustment or change would be better than what we saw the last two weeks.

we disagree a lot on here without name calling...or vulgarity....or innuendos...
....so back to football....
.Golding...not a fan either......

Nick's excuse cannot explain the exorbitant number of missed tackles I saw last night. We make the tackles, that game would not have been close. Can't help but believe that improper tackling techniques have to fall on the coaches, the defensive coaches. I was leery when Nick decided to keep Golden on staff last year. Our great defenses ended when Smart and Pruitt left.
It was the smell of Crisco
