Big games back to back are tough. In the ten year (1981-1990) series with Penn State, Bama played Tennessee and PSU back to back in eight of those years. Went 8-8. ( Lost to both in 83 and 85. Beat both in 88 and 89. Split in 82, 84. 86, and 90.

Will never forgive Coach Bryant for using the open dates before ut he had set aside for 82-84. Used those dates to schedule PSU. Bama lost all four to ut the week after PSU. The ONLY four losses to ut in a 24 year (1971-1994) period!

We would have KY, AnM, MSU, AU...with OSU...in 2028...

On the other side, I know two games in 2028 that will be on national TV - early in the season. I don't know who will have the broadcast rights that year, but expect new audience records and big time advertising dollars.

That contract ends in 2025. Since CBS is losing the SEC, I wouldn't be shocked if they go after ND.

By 2025..... it will be expanded for sure.....
Means more big league CF.... cause a lost wont kill ur chances of a playoff spot....

We can rejoice that cbs is losing SEC....but ABC wont be any different.....

More payouts = need for more income = more commercials = longer games with less active play

Contracts had ended every five years from 1991-2016 and had always been renewed for another five years. Contract ending in 2016 was renewed for 10 years in 2013. Contract ending in 2025 will be renewed. NBC is not letting ND get away.
