23 years ago we were going into the season with Bama holding a top five ranking and looking forward to UCLA.

That fall was also the last time LSU wasn't included in the top 25 in the preseason Coaches poll.

On that note did you notice Tennessee received more votes than LSU? It's probably been 15 years since we've seen that.

3 wins that season, made me hate college football for a year!!!! That southern miss game🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮!!!

No clue how Tennessee isn't ranked. I think they have a solid season and are a mainstay in the Top 25. NC State? All because of their quarterback? Wake Forest without Hartman now, so they likely aren't going anywhere. Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Houston all ranked ahead of Tennessee? Not saying the Vols should be Top 10, but they have more potential than a number of these teams.

I’ll never forget that game. Milons took that first punt 75 yards to the house. Then we had a 90+ yards INT score. But that was about it. Their RB ran all over us and they had to use their backup QB for most of the game. Ugly start to an ugly season.
