🏈 GAME THREAD Alabama tops Oklahoma 80-73, SEC finishes 6-4 in Big 12/SEC Challenge

Interesting that the Oklahoma coach took Young out of the game with a little more than a minute to go and trailing by 10. I think he saw how frustrated he was and it didn't look like he was still competing. We look like we had that kid in a box and one all night. Avery's best coaching job without a doubt. Wonder if the big 12 has a blueprint going forward?

Yup.

Stat lines: rebounding was a push essentially, only down 1 in that category.

But, we held them to 40% while shooting 55% from the floor ourselves.

HUGE.

SEC: 2

I always wanting the SEC school to do the best against other teams. But right now I'm a very happy camper now! Bama Won!! bama Won@!!
But why didn't UK and the barner play today against the Big 12

Trae Young looks like he models his game after Steph Curry. If u get the least bit physical with him and the refs let it go he will upset and way off his game. If Bama comes out and plays defense like they did today they will be tough for anyone to beat as long as the refs are calling it fair. I loved the comment about TY never committing fouls. I saw at least 3 that should have been called and the ref just looked the other way. Plus the kid plays no defense at all

He does the Curry 30-foot pull-up jumpers, just doesn't hit them as often.

When Jones matches up with guards or more slightly built forwards, he is very effective with his length. He struggles with physical play. Offensively, he is excellent at getting to the rim but his shooting needs a good bit of work. He's going to be star.
