🏈 Alabama tabbed No. 2 in Athlon's preseason top 25, but did they get it right?

Alabama is still expected to have a big season.


It’s early summer, so that means preseason preview college football magazines are starting to hit the news stands.

The first one I look at is Athlon. The publication lists Alabama the No. 2 team in its preseason rankings.

Alabama has a great reputation with national titles in three of the last five years. However, I still think it’s too early to say its going to contend again.

That whole new quarterback deal is going to be a problem, coupled with rebuilding the defense.

The only thing that matters is where we end up at the end of the season. Right now, we have a lot of question marks b4 the season starts. With that being said, the magazines do make for interesting reading.

Feel like Fowler should be getting some love. Rewatched the A-Day game and he looks much faster.
