Alabama Spring Football Preview: Wide Receivers and Tight Ends
Alabama Spring Football Preview: Wide Receivers and Tight Ends

Analysis: If you said thereās a better receiving corps out there than the one in Tuscaloosa, we wouldnāt believe you. Ridley appears to be the next great Alabama wideout, following Julio Jones and Amari Cooper on a path toward presumed NFL stardom.
His 2015 numbers ā 89 catches for 1,045 yards and seven touchdowns ā paced the Crimson Tideās talented group of receiving options, and several highlight-reel catches had fans across the country buzzing.
Former cornerback Cyrus Jones compared Ridley to Cooper at the NFL Scouting Combine last week.
āItās real close,ā he said. āI think theyāve got the same-type skill set. His freshman year was awesome, just like Coopās was. He still has room to grow, so the skyās the limit for him.ā
Joining Ridley will be Stewart (63 receptions for 700 yards and four scores) who emerged as a reliable big-catch receiver as the season went on. Then thereās Foster, who was the Tideās No. 1 receiver before going down with a season-ending rotator cuff injury against Ole Miss.
