Alabama Softball Scheduled to Appear in 13 Nationally Televised Games - Alabama Athletics

How are we looking this year? I know the last few years we've lost a ton of talent.
O my goodness. Thats a lot of competition

Starting next weekend they'll play nine games over a two weekend period; all on the road. There's one of those season opening tournaments in Gulf Shores and they're grabbing a game in Mobile the night before (season opener against USA.) The next weekend they're in Hattiesburg, then back home to open the home season.

Home opening series is the Easton Bama Bash. How many years now...I'd have to look. The other marquee team in Tuscaloosa that weekend is Florida State. If you don't recall, FSU was pushed out of the tournament last season by LSU in the Supers. That's after winning their three game series against Georgia. I haven't looked at their roster and don't remember what they have coming back. But let's not kid ourselves. They've won five consecutive ACC championships and was in the WCWS in 2016.
I could go on about what Bama's looking like but there's a few days before the season starts. They've been practicing for a few now.

As to the top 25 and how it relates to Bama:

I suggest we wait and see when it comes to LSU's ranking. Bama doesn't play LSU in the regular season.

If you look at all the teams, then take the ones ahead of Bama and those below Bama:

Out of the five ranked below the Tide two of the five are in Tuscaloosa. Translation: There are three road series against teams ranked in the top 25--all three ranked below the Tide.

With LSU out of the regular season picture that leaves UF and A&M. Both of those are home series.

OF NOTE:

The series with Tennessee is A-day weekend and the one with A&M is the last regular season series. HUGE home advantage in both.
