šŸ“” Alabama says it’s secured the most powerful influencer for Covid-19 vaccination that pollsters can imagine: Nick Saban.

No matter who they get to talk about getting the vaccine there’s just some people that are flat not going to get it for one reason or another.

More than 40% of this state I live in hasn’t gotten it and won’t. It’s been politicized at nauseam by both parties and since this state has a huge hard on for the previous President everything he says and said they believe, so when he politicized COVID this state jumped on it

Was/is it politicized? Absolutely. Trump did his share but he was not the only one. Both parties did so we should not lay this at the foot of one person.

Pointing at you doing it. You did everything but call it "un-American". It's your opinion only, and everyone else is crazy. I would rather you give my argument a fair hearing before you persist in your lunacy.

You do not know anymore about the shots than I do but you drew a line in the sand and said anyone not on your side is irrational. This doesn’t have anything to do with patriotism yet you used it as a derogatory directed at me.
You employ the same tactics used in politics divide, and take on a mantle of superiority that one is irrational or irresponsible if they don’t agree with you. People like you are what’s wrong with this country.

I have an idea. Why not make all of us against the ā€œvaccineā€ wear an identifying mark on our clothing so everyone can see the enemy within? It was done once already.

Can it really be called a vaccination when it doesn't keep you from getting the virus? It just helps your body realize what it is and fights it a little better. You can still get the virus, get sick from the virus, and die from the virus. Just like the flu shot, and I don't think I've ever heard that called a vaccination in passing by anyone, even if it is the technical term, because it doesn't keep you from getting it.

I got the vaccine back in January and didn't suffer any weird side effects, like a 3rd nipple, a tail (like a former AU QB), or even an extra appendage. It was a personal choice. My wife deals with diabetes, and my parents aren't getting any younger. I didn't want to risk exposing any of them. Personal choice people. Do what you feel is best for you and your family.

All vaccines carry some risk. And, while I don't think the mRNA vaccines are a gov't attempt to make us all into zombie slaves - I do think there are too many (for me) unanswered questions about possible side effects of using this relatively new delivery method.

Personally, I fall into a couple of high-risk categories and wanted an option I felt more comfortable with. So, I went with the J&J last week. It does not use the mRNA delivery, but rather an adenovirus approach. So far, so good with no apparent side-effects. Apparently, if I get past 28 days after the injection, the odds of me dying or being hospitalized from CORONA virus are very, very low. I'll risk the zombie thing for now and will let y'all know if I develop a taste for sweetbreads...

Open question to those opposed to mRNA vaccines. How do you feel about the Johnson and Johnson vaccine?

I don't like any of these options. I used to be a person that went with the flow of society, but still a hard nosed guy that dug in on his beliefs. My wife has changed my thinking a lot over the last number of years, and by simply reading the Bible and abiding by the words in there, I have changed my tune to vaccinations for the most part as well as healthy living. "Oh, a little Burger King ain't gonna hurt", was the line of thinking I had, until you do the research and statistics on the food and health we consume these days and it opens your eyes to just all of the toxins and garbage we put into our body and in our lives. That's not saying I'm the perfect eater, but I have limited my fast foods and working on eating healthier and it's amazing how much better I feel. I do my best to limit my Coke intake, rarely drink alcohol anymore, and it's amazing how I feel better once I eat well compared to a week where I don't. I get maybe four good hours of sleep a night, and with a full time job, two side jobs, and four kids, I don't think I could make it if I lived like complete crap. All of that being said, if we all cleaned up our diets and got off the fucking meds, our body's could fight things like this and it wouldn't be as harsh on us. All of these medications, foods, and other items we put into our bodies genetically morph us into things we have never seen before. The statistics of medication and the increase with health issues doesn't just seem like a coincidence to me, and it falls right in line with the poor dieting in this country and the decreased exercise we all receive.

I had the virus back in late December, early January, and I didn't even know I had it until I couldn't taste or smell. Five months later I still haven't fully gotten my taste back and can probably smell about 10% as good as I used to. No medicine, no vaccination, no rest, nothing. I understand it can hit the same type person two different ways, but this is what I experienced. As others have mentioned here before anyone wants to criticize me, my stepmomma was given a 20% chance to live when she had it, was in the hospital two weeks and made it out, and my dad was laid up in bed for two weeks as well, had a cousin die from blood clots caused by it and his health wasn't great to start with due to a motorcycle injury from years back, and it still doesn't change my mind on the vaccine or our health in general.

In the end, if we just took care of the bodies the Lord gave us and put good food in our system, go out and get a little sunlight, exercise a little, I don't think you need these vaccinations. Especially ones rushed through trials and ones that are having adverse affects on people, maternity, and other issues. Just my two cents though, everyone can make their own decisions, but if people wonder why I emotionally can detach myself, it's because we all make decisions and those decisions are what we unfortunately have to live with. Having a choice though is my stance on this. Don't force it on me and I won't force my thoughts on you. I'm glad to know you haven't experienced any concerning issues with your shots and I hope it gets you through all of this unharmed! Roll Tide my friend.

I personally know 2 different people that have gotten the vaccine and developed Gillian Barre Syndrome since.
A good buddy of mine’s mom got that also. She can’t walk now. It’s sad. She’s 78 I think, but was a busy lady and in good health. She had COVID in November and recovered fine. This is taking a hard toll on her though. My buddy’s wife is an internal medicine doctor and lined her up with the vaccine she thought was best. You just don’t know sometimes.

Well, I guess a key difference is you're a safe one when it comes to your rants. Your calls for action stop at your fingertips. No action beyond typing will come from you.

You’re the pussy that’s virtue signaling and stating that any not like you are irrational. You’re scared shitless and wanting to believe the shit that you regurgitate. I will be happy to pm you my address if you would care to come test your hypothesis.
