I think it is all about the numbers and one in particular, #27. BAMA may have lost the war that night but a star was born. When fans from other teams (most of the people I work with) say anything about that game, they barely mention the score but they damn sure noticed Derrick Henry. You could almost hear Munson himself saying, "My God, a Freshman!". One UGA alum, my age, that I work with says Henry took him back to Herschel Walker. That's the highest praise you can imagine from a Dawg loyalist.
Kamara looked good in high school. He will be a good back no matter where he goes. Good for him for at least competing against what he knew would be a crowded position. That takes some guts in and of itself.
I am really pissed off at "fans" who are hitting him up on Twitter saying crap about him being a wasted scholarship, wishing bad things on him, etc. The kid is gone, leave it be. No need to be complete asses about it.
