That's the point. Is Ty in the portal?
I think Ty will enter the portal … this time next season. Unless I’m terribly wrong, Keelon will win the starting nod at some point in the season if not from day one. He’s a generational talent and he should have been the top ranked recruit out of high school. I got to watch him play and he was a man against children. He can do it all.

So you gonna start freshmen knowing we have brutal schedule next year?
We can win games with Simpson and Mack. Ain't no way Keelon is going to jump over guys who has experience.

He will haft to learn our system and verbiage and really needs to put on a few pounds to take that SEC pounding week in and out.

I too believe that Keelon will be a star but i dont think it will be year one. They’re will be a learning curve. IMO

So it look like that Spring game will be a big one for some of the new players.

It’s not often a true frosh comes into an established program and starts in their first year.

Maybe Keelon is just that good.

But, fans calling for the backup QB to be the starter is a tale as old as time.

I doubt Keelon starts in year one. I think Mack has a better chance at beating Ty out than Keelon.

Milroe playing in the bowl game I just saw.

Yep, DeBoer pretty much said it out loud during that zoom call press conference the other night after the team banquet. I'd qualify it is a bit surprising personally... there was the feeling by some that he'd forego it and get a jump on training for the combine, but I also can't blame him. And honestly, I like to see the Bama guys stick around for the final game (and experiences) like Bryce and Will Anderson did a couple years back for the Sugar Bowl.

We had a frosh from Texas that once came in and took the team by the horns. Had a pretty solid freshman campaign. Better in about every category than Milroe was this year. Doing pretty well for the Eagles now.
