I'm getting 83 but maybe I'm off on this šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
Before the portal opened I did one of those "quick counts" and came up with between 20-30 walk-ons that would have to move on and at least six scholarship guys. Add this one, subtract that one, add this one, subtract ...

I haven't been keeping a spread sheet. So, I can't say for sure. Brandon thought they were one over the other day when I was thinking two.

Weā€™re hemorrhaging 4 and 5 star players and adding Ball St like players. Meanwhile we have programs like Ohio St, Oregon, and Texas offering Lambos to recruits. Letā€™s be real guys, this is a deliberate Ctrl-Alt-Del to college football. This is a concerted effort to spread the talent around from coast to coast, sea to shining sea, to reengage and stimulate every fan base after decades of Southeastern dominance. Call it a controlled demolition. šŸ˜€ It shouldnā€™t surprise us we have Ohio St, Penn St and ND all in the final four.

Iā€™m curious why he left? He was a starter. Is there someone else that we already have that will pass him?

He was a head case and a problem who couldn't be counted on, on or off the field. Formby doesn't have his overall athletic ability, but Pritchett doesn't have Formby's work ethic and common sense. And while Formby could possibly end up at guard instead of tackle, he's the better option of the 2 right now at RT in a number of ways.

Every OL gets whipped during a game, but this dude took it on the chin about 50% of the time.

What about Dixon and Lockwood?

1-money
2-playing time
3-asked by Bama to look around

Not sure on those two specifically. Best guess is they want better playing time opportunities. I don't believe it was #3 on either though. And I doubt either will get substantially more $ elsewhere, but that's possible if a team out there likes them (or needs them) enough.
