I believe Alexander came in with Ty’s class. Not sure how much he saw the field. Another 5-star bust? Had at least 2 seasons to make an impact which is a lot for a 5-star.

In general, if a player hasn't played meaningful snap within his 2 year, then he isn't going to be a playa.

Linguist is awesome. Hitschler struggled some on and off the field with coaching and recruiting. Certainly wasn't good enough at 1 to overcome the other.

He may be telling the truth or he may throwing some butter... and Hitschler isn't some moron with a headset. But he's had difficulties on days other than Saturdays. Also, paying out buyouts is something that UA goes to great lengths to avoid these days when every dollar going into and out of the program is so valuable. For them to cut him loose after 1 year says a lot without actually saying it.
