Alabama picked to win the SEC by preseason magazine Lindy's
Popular preseason magazine Lindy's has picked the Alabama Crimson Tide to win the SEC, according to 247 Sports.
"Nick Saban has amassed another super-talented roster, and he knows what to do with it," the magazine says. "We find nothing about repeating in the West easy, but Saban has earned trust that it can be done in '15."
Interestingly the magazine has Jacob Coker winning the starting job in 2015, saying: "Coaches are looking for him to really step up." This despiterecent talk of freshman David Cornwell earning the starting spot over the summer.
If Alabama does indeed win the SEC, they'll do so by overcoming what some are calling the nation's most difficult schedule.
