Alabama-Mercer kickoff time, TV channel announced
No. 2 Alabamaās Week 12 home game against the Mercer Bears of the FCS on Saturday, Nov. 18, will kick off at 11 a.m. CT and will air on the SEC Network, the SEC announced Monday.
This will be the Crimson Tideās first game on the SEC Network this season.
The Bears have posted a 4-5 (3-4 SoCon) record in nine games and recently lost to Samford, 20-3, in Macon, Ga. Mercer will next travel to face Western Carolina on Nov. 11.
This will be the third meeting between the two schools with Alabama owning a 2-0 record in the all-time series. The Crimson Tide last defeated the Bears, 20-0, back in 1940.
Mercer is entering its fifth season of football since the program was reinstated in 2013 following a 72-year hiatus. The Bears finished with a 6-5 (4-4 SoCon) record a year ago.
Next Saturdayās game will be the final game played in Bryant-Denny Stadium this season.
