So I'd like to know our recruiting practices for Kickers?

Take the licking and keep on ticking. Lots of mistakes in the game but that pass interception from looking on the TV looked like it was taken away after he was down. BAMA beat themselves.

Great game

I hate to be a dissenter but when Williams hit the ground, the ball came loose. I wanted Bama to win (for family reasons) but that was the right call.

I hope Dre is OK. It sounded like he had a concussion. I'm SHOCKED Mathieu didn't get the hook or at least a personal foul. That was CLEARLY flagrant.

Was Trent nicked up or did they just play Lacy more in the second half?

I will say I give Bama's D the nod over LSU after tonight. Upshaw is a monster.

I have to tip my hat to Maze and Jones for working through injuries. Barrett was visibly limping and soldiered through it. I have a ton of respect for those two after tonight.

At least it wasn't a blow out, like Oklahoma getting waxed but the Red Raiders. And if nothing else, given Bama's expertise at foot shooting (and they are getting better -worse?- at it) it wasn't a bad game. The boys held LSU to a meager 9-points. Pretty damn impressive. But I am certainly not keen on a re-match until Bama gets a field goal kicker. Maybe one of the cheerleaders can be trained up.

That interception was NOT an interception. Terrible game by the officials. Right before that call I was musing that there hadn't been any real bad calls yet. We both played an insane game and it took the officials to win it for LSU. Score one for them..

At least there's hope for us being able to rebound and go to a good BCS bowl and (quite possibly) the BCSCG…maybe.

LSU deserves a lot of credit, but Bama shot themselves in the foot many times. Three missed field goals. An interception at the goal line when Bama had momentum and looked like they might be driving for the winning td. A terrible pass attempt to a wide open Trent Richardson in OT. And a pathetic field goal attempt.

Agreed. It is tough to look at this and say that "LSU won this game". Bama let it slip away. There were a few chances to put them away. If you told me before the game that Bama gets two picks I'd tell you they win going away. Playcalling seemed off to me tonight. AJ didn't seem settled and the Maze throw was just stupid. You have an offense that was rolling, stick with what got you here, punch it in and go back to the locker room as the new number 1

Yep. Im at a complete loss with some of the playcalls.

I'm not ready to throw any play calling under the bus. LSU is a hell of a team too BUT the chances were there...

People come on.... we held LS f*cking U to 6 points for 60 minutes. That's outstanding. And so Bama is not going to the Nationals... it was still a great game on everyone's behalf except.... for that BLOODY FIELD GOAL KICKER who single handedly sunk the world. AJ's was damn good in his debut against a #1. Trent delivered. The defense really delivered, And the offense gave the team 4 chances to put the Tigers away.... except for that BLOODY FIELD GOAL KICKER. I wonder if he's been able to pull his head out of the dressing room toilet yet.

My sentiments, exactly. Gary and Verne kept trying to say Les outcoached Nick, but that takes game performance away from the players. I kinda dread church tomorrow morning. Nothing but LSU fans.

If LSU won (and they did), I was all prepared to cheer them on to the SEC title and the BCS NC. But, after Honey Badger's hit on Dré, I kinda hope Arkansas trips them up. Bad of me, ain't it?
