Alabama softball's streak of hosting an NCAA regional continues.

The Crimson Tide landed the No. 12 overall seed Sunday night, which means it gets another weekend at home. Middle Tennessee State (39-20) is the first up for the hosts Friday with Oregon State and Wisconsin also in the Tuscaloosa Regional.

Alabama will face MTSU at 8:30 p.m. CT Friday after the 6 p.m. game between Oregon State and Wisconsin. It will not air live on television but will stream live on the WatchESPN app and on the ESPN website.

The bracket matches the survivor of Alabama's regional with No. 5 Washington's regional in the super regional round. Should the seeding play out, that would be played in Seattle -- best of three for a spot in Oklahoma City.

This is the 14th straight year for the Tide to host the regional. It has advanced to the super regional every year since 2005 and hasn't dropped a single game in the round since 2007.

Alabama (33-18) won five straight games late including the SEC tournament opener over Auburn to all but assure a hosting slot. The hot streak included a sweep of top-10 Texas A&M to close the regular season.

The Tide won its national title in 2012 and played in three straight Women's College World Series from 2014-16. That included a runner-up finish to Florida in 2014.

The SEC got nine of the top 16 seeds that will host regionals. That includes No. 2 Florida, No. 8 Georgia, No. 9 South Carolina and No. 10 Tennessee.
