As I told a friend of mine - this is why there are expectations at Alabama - we DO this - we WIN, a LOT.

Our first 10 win season was in 1920!!! 1925, 1930, 1934, 1945, 1952 (included bowl win), '61, '62 (included bowl win), '64, '66, '71 THRU '75, '77 THRU 80 (included bowl win in '80), '86 (included bowl win), '89, '91, '92, '94, '96 (included bowl win), '99, '02 (ineligible), '05 (vacated), ' 08 THRU '17 (included bowl win in 2010)! That's 38 10 win seasons!!!

So it is also why I am so shocked at Auburn expecting that they should be successful - they have won 10 games in a row ONCE in their whole history!!!! They won 10 games in 1957- which was their FIRST 10 win season (and then they were put on probation!!!) 1972 (included bowl win), 1974 (included bowl win), 1983, 1986 (included bowl win), 1988, 1989 (included bowl win) - THERE is their only streak of TWO!!!. 1993 (INELIGIGLE), 1997 (included bowl win), 2004, 2006, 2010, 2013. 13 10 win seasons.

Notre Dame has 17, longest streak is 3.

Michigan - 27 - longest streak is 5.

Oklahoma - 36 - longest streak is 5.

Miami - 14 - longest streak is 8.

tOSU - 25 - longest is 5.

Florida St - 24 - BUT THE LONGEST STREAK AT FOURTEEN - Bowden was dominant!!

Texas - 23 - but a streak of 9.

Nebraska - 27 - longest is 5.

Penn State - 22- longest is 3

Texas did it 9 years in a row under Mack Brown, his first three years were 9 win seasons...suddenly this isn't that impressive huh .

If not for the 2010 season, we'd be talking about 10 consecutive 11 win seasons, Saturday's win will make it 7 consecutive 11 win seasons.
