Mine, too. I've told the story, but briefly I went to the game with three aubrun fans - my girlfriend who was a Tigerette hostess, her sister and sister's boyfriend. I drove to the game, and was ridiculed by them the entire way for going at all, and informed that when they whipped our butt I wouldn't be able to say when we left just because I was driving. I said, fine, but it goes both ways. Sitting with the enemy, I was shuffled to the end of the row during the first quarter. After the most exciting fourth I've ever witnessed, and just after Tiffin's FG cleared the uprights, my joyous eyes turned to my companions as they were already holding their stadium seats for a quick departure. I just laughed and said, Have a seat!
It wasn't our first Iron Bowl but one of my favorites as well. We were sitting near the Bama student section. When the barn band played their alma mater, the students sang "ole McDonald had a farm." It just happened to be Bo Jackson's birthday and the barn student section sang happy birthday to him before the game during warm-up. After the game the Bama student section sang happy birthday to him ! Roll Tide.
