I was heading up to the security line @ Heathrow and the guy directly in front of me on the escalator had on an Alabama jacket and hat. He was from Selma.

I swear I run into Alabama fans at the most surprising times. Ran into an LSU fan in the Bangalore executive lounge, we chatted for a bit.

Just like Charles Barkley said, you can't get rid of us. We're cockroaches, we're everywhere you go.

Funny, no one ever says this for Auburn. I've seen a total of 6 in Cali.

I've told this before on here, but when I was in Sausilito several years back, a local man there tried his hardest to buy the Bama hat from me that I was wearing. I would have just given it to him, but I didn't have another hat for the trip.

I haven't come across any other Bama fans to be honest. Got chatting to someone a few months ago about football turned out he was an auburn fan and that was pretty much where the conversation ended. Was planning a trip over next year but my wife is pregnant so that has put a stop to my plan.

Up here in Burlington, Ontario there are quite a few Bama fans living here, including a woman and a couple all from Tuscaloosa. I actually routinely meet Bama fans up here, and gotten "Roll Tide" in stores, on the street, and from fellow drivers leaning out their windows in the next lane.

I personally have helped to convert people in Costa Rica, Bahamas and last summer Cuba of all places. I take extra hats on my mission trips and all ways eager to tell folks about our great university.
