Birdman, the signed jerseys are a non-issue. Dealers have access to the numbers to make the pro combat jerseys in whatever manner they want. A dealer I work with at times sells Julio pro combat jerseys for $100 that were signed in front of us in Huntsville at the recent signings. He bought the jersey and the numbers and put the name on himself. While we could do current players, we don't but as long as the university and/or the player don't profit, it is a non-issue.
As for your lady at the mall--they may be real but I would be skeptical as well. The cost of the jersey at retail wouldn't be a factor.
