🏈 Alabama dropped to 5th in Coaches Poll

I think us losing was exactly what we needed. I think we had been playing with a little entitlement, thinking we would win every game just because we're Bama. I think losing will aid CNS in getting through to them with that regard, and we'll play better going forward. We may have some issues, but I don't think any of them are unsurmountable.

I also don't think UGA is as good as they think they are. They still haven't played ANYONE with a pulse, much less an offense. Arkansas was a nice story, but they had been playing way over their head. Auburn couldn't score in a whorehouse.

How much time do we realistically have left with CNS on the sidelines? Coach looks very tired these days. That's NOT a knock or a criticism. That's exactly how Bryant looked in 1982. Now, that's certainly not to say that 2021 is Saban's 1982. But, we could have a new coach by say....2026 or so. It has nothing to do with losing to aTm and everything to do with where CNS may be in his career. Just my .02 on that.

As for this season.....I don't know. We'd have to seriously turn it around and FAST if we want to have a realistic shot at the playoffs. Too much is wrong on defense. Golding needs to go and it doesn't need to drag on any longer than it already has. That's just for starters
He turns 70 in a few weeks... so maybe 5 to 10 years? Really, it's just up to him. He enjoys what he's doing and he doesn't want to do anything else... I don't see why he couldn't or wouldn't continue on even after that, if he's healthy. Of course who knows what the future holds for any of use in terms of health.
