🏈 Alabama coach Nick Saban in negotiations with school officials on a contract extension

He can stay here as long as he has the heart for it. I figure if he stays awhile there will be some rough seasons, but I am sure he will have a great overall record here.

I am interested to see how the fanbase reacts to down years under him(i dnt think this one will be), I hope we take the bad with the good(though im also sure the good will be more frequent)

I really think Saban will be at Alabama for the long run. I've heard the argument made on Petrino's behalf that the media was to harsh on him the last time he moved to leave Arkansas anywhere in the near future. I certainly think the same holds true in Saban's case. He's not only building something at Alabama. He has built something at Alabama!

I don't think Coach Saban is ready to endure another media circus. He doesn't seem the type that enjoys that kind of attention. You may think I am crazy but after watching interview after interview with Saban, I really thinks he wants to be liked. If he continues what he's building here at Alabama, the term will go well beyond liked and we Alabama fans tend to hold great coaches in pretty high regards. I have very high confidence that Saban will be considered one of the BAMA greats and Coach Saban will consider BAMA home. Hell, all that had to happen in Coach Bryant's case was for "Momma to call". Nick Saban has Momma and his local accountant calling. Seems like compelling twins.

What is wrong with the B'ham News?

Why would they include that calculator except to give rival fans an opportunity to bad-mouth Alabama and Saban?

He's worth every penny. Give it to him.
