Hi all,

For nearly 1 month, we had 3+ Alabama shirts selling very well on Amazon (and we were happy to read 5-star reviews). Then the night before the Orange Bowl, Amazon decided to remove our shirts. In our product titles/descriptions, we only used the word "Alabama" while omitting words like Crimson Tide, Roll Tide, college, and football.

What do you think? Was Amazon in the right to take down the shirts? Or do the fans deserve access to these shirts? (Attached)

Thanks for your insight (legal or non-legal)!

what explanation did they give for removing them?

if it was for legal and/or trademark issues, i can understand (IF you didn't have permission to use it/them).

It's obvious that the shirts, using "Alabama" and the elephant, refer to the university. The school does have a trademark on that. Be happy the shirts were only taken down and the school hasn't pursued you for a financial and legal remedy.
