Former St. Bonaventure standout Dominick Welch withdrew from the NBA Draft and will head to play at Alabama this season, according to Stadium’s Jeff Goodman. Welch piled up 104 starts over the last four seasons with the Bonnies. The No. 98 small forward in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports, Welch supplied a much-needed shooting presence at St. Bonaventure. Over his four-year career, the 6-foot-5 wing averaged 10.9 points per game and made 257 3-pointers, knocking them down at a 37.4% clip.

Welch averaged 12.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.3 steals per game this past season. He made a career-high 91 3-pointers, shooting 37.4% from deep.

Welch committed to Alabama earlier this month, following an official visit to Tuscaloosa. He then signed with the Crimson Tide on Monday.
