I'm apparently super uninformed because I did not realize Alabama even had a hockey team. Awesome, because I love ice hockey. I also freakin' love the "Frozen Tide" name .. Teehee.

You're not the only one. I tried checking at Rolltide.com under sports and Ice Hockey isn't even listed.

Are there any more that aren't listed we should know about?


We used to have an ice hockey team here in Mobile (Mobile Mystics) but they moved to Atlanta. I wanted to go to a game someday but never made it. They used to have a TV commercial with William Moody aka Paul Bearer , at a game, who is also a Bama fan.

Several are top notch... Bass fishing, racquetball, & wheelchair basketball that I know of (probably because i live here and hear about them)...

Depends where down south. Atlanta it wasnt which is why the team moved to Canada, but In Texas it's huge, in Florida it's pretty big, the Carolinas it is, but that's from a professional standpoint I don't know about college, high school, or junior and midget and all that
