Something I found odd......I was on the quad headed to the pisser and saw group of guys (looked to be frat) all had on Texas Longhorn shirts and was giving the hook'em horns sign. I was more interested in getting to the bathroom at the moment. I wanted to ask ,when I came out, why they were there and who they were pulling for, but they were gone.

In the game there was a couple sitting behind us that had on Longhorn attire. Didn't ask who they were pulling for, but my dad made the guy high-five him after the Jonathan Allen scoop and score. :D

I've met people who try to visit certain famous football venues through the season. They'll take matchups they want to see and go visit. Regardless, I can't imagine they went away disappointed.

^^^The couple that live across the street from my parents are Longhorn's fans. After the game he was in his front yard as I was about to get in my car to go home. I asked him "being a longhorn's fan you probably know the Aggie's better than I do; what exactly is there beef against women? They call it tradition; I call it weird." He just laughed.

This. I do this with a couple of friends once a year. We're going to Morgantown this year. I went to Lubbock last year. Lincoln 2 years ago. Planning on Oregon and Blacksburg in the next couple of years. Usually just wear a neutral color and a Bama cap. We don't try to bring attention to ourselves but just enjoy the atmosphere and meeting fans of college football.

That's how I do it as well.

I walked up the southeast ramp with those guys (four of five of them, all in in long sleeve burnt orange shirts, clean cut college age guys). They were very much for Bama and got a lot of "hook'em horns". I joked with one of them that they would have a great time as long as they don't begin a sentence with, "If Colt hadn't gotten hurt....." We both got a good laugh out of it.

RTR,

Tim
