Would Saban go back to LSU after 4 to 5 years at Alabama if he had the chance?

I'm not saying that Saban wont leave Alabama one day, perhaps for another coaching position, but I can't imagine any practical reason that would lead him back to LSU. He accomplished the ultimate goal there. What is left for him to do there? Nothing.

You can count on one hand the number of jobs that Saban could possibly leave Bama for one day. Baton Rouge isn't one of them in my opinion. Been there. Done that.

I don't think so. I think he has a challenge in T- Town. He fell short this season in terms of the NC. but he has Bama back to were we should be and that's competing on a high level. I mean with a win we should be ranked top 3 next year! It also seems if you are a College Football coach you would want your statue next to the greatest CF coach ever!
and that would require a National Championship! RTR!

I also don't see him going back to a place whose fans burned a doll that was to represent him. They have burned any bridge that would possibly lead from Tuscaloosa to Baton Rouge.

Just to add a note here if you guys didn't know it already...

Back in September/October of 2006 when Saban had fully realized the NFL isn't where he wanted to be he mentioned 3 schools he'd consider to Sexton. They were LSU, Bama and Georgia.

It just so happened there was only one job opening.

Just about anything you want to draw from that list is likely to be true. South, SEC...
