| RECRUIT ⭐️Alabama 2025 Recruiting Class Updates ⭐️: Four-Star Safety Ivan Taylor has Flipped his Commitment from Michigan to Alabama

I think this 24&7 recruiting cycle puts too much pressure on these kids and teams…I would rather see these kids not commit at all than to LIE..Maybe there should be a real dead period so there won’t be a much $hopping going on..These kids ( and their handlers) have became so greedy.. They are simply just mercenaries now, with no love or loyalty to any School or fan base...

So you're putting pressure on kids?!

So you're putting pressure on kids?!

The new process is making divas out of these kids… They are going to be like child stars from the 70s… Used to all of this attention and celebrity status, then “flame out”… The even made fun of it on “Land Man” last night and used Bama as the punchline…The kids are getting too much attention and pressure too..

I mean committed to us then flippled to Ole Miss. As I stated NIL is a different animal. Only reason I can rationalize for why someone would go to Ole Miss over Bama and all that Bama tradition brings with it. Yes I have full crimson glasses on and proud of it.
But they do have Kiffin and a kid like that knows Kiffin is going to put the ball in his hands. Don't know who the QB will be next year, but Kiffin will have someone ready to go.

Saying our best lineman recruit is looking hard at Colorado. They'll get Juju Lewis, so I'm betting that could be a major selling point to Carroll.
No, he's Bama bound not worried about him looking at Colorado, he's just enjoying his recruitment but the turn around by our O-line play is a major selling point. We're in the discussion for Joe Moore this year a complete change from last year's issues.

I'd look at these to close out recruiting

WR - We're looking to close 1 more
Naeshaun Montgomery - 4-star - Liked Bama in Spring, we talked with him a lot but then we had interest from Cunningham and Meadows (Higher on our Boards) and then Cunningham committed which kinda ended the discussions. It's not a big secret he's high on Bama himself but he never made the commitment. He loved his visit the last weekend and could be a target for ESD Flip.
Caleb Cunningham - 5-star (Flipped from us to Ole Miss) - We will continue to pursue, not optimistic at the moment of our chances here but if Ole Miss sputters down the stretch and Bama continues to elevate this may change some.
Portal - May choose this option if Montgomery and Cunningham decide to go elsewhere. We have a great WR room right now and just need to develop our talent.

DL - Looking to add Terry. So far haven't heard anything about adding another piece unless it's Terry here

Justus Terry - 5-star - Going to be a tough get but I know we're working very hard on pulling this kid in for a game. He said he'd come for a visit in November but has not confirmed a date with the staff, team, or coaches at the moment. It is believed it will likely be for the Iron Bowl and not a random visit but honestly tough to tell here if we can get him on campus. IF we get him on campus I think our odds drastically improve but aren't likely in the lead there even with that bump.

S/CB - We're looking to get some flips here

Ivan Taylor - 4-star - ND Commitment - Likely will flip sooner rather than later. There was a lot of smoke last week but he hasn't pulled the trigger yet. Not sure if there is hesitation or if he's having second thoughts. I'm still betting this thing gets done soon.
Maison Dunn - 4-star - Ole Miss commitment - Has been pretty tight lipped on his recruitment but trends/patterns kinda give Bama hope here. He's visited us 3 times in fall and honestly seems like he's more than just interested.

RB - After Rodgers decommitted (Expected) we will likely find an option here. Since AK Dear is in the class likely going to be looking for a back-up role or someone who needs more time to grow into the position.

Jace Clarizo - 3-star Michigan State - Enjoyed the Mercer game and liked all the stuff. Not sure we made enough of an impression to see a flip here but Bama continues to pursue this. Similar to Dalton below, he's got some development to do in college.
Harry Dalton - 3-star USC - Is expected to visit for the Iron Bowl against Auburn will get more of a read on this after the visit but we're a little late in the process. However, he is intrigued by being developed here.
Portal - Always an option here also, there may be some interested parties among P5 schools of recruits from last year that are unhappy.

There's a few more flip targets we're talking to here also but they've kinda shut down this recruiting cycle at the moment and are moving on to 2026 for the most part. ESD is quickly approaching and I believe what we see in our class will stay with our class.

DL - Looking to add Terry. So far haven't heard anything about adding another piece unless it's Terry here
What am I missing this is a major hole in next years recrutiing class, correct? Don't we lose several starts on DL so we should be trying to bring in several? Help me make sense of the strategy for recruiting at this critical position.

We have 2 DL already in the class. The portal is likely where we pull some more from. Mbouma is already 1 year into college and been doing our Strength program since he was recruited he'll be ready to play day 1. Simmons is a wrecker IMO he's vastly underrated because his position isn't as sexy but he does a great job of using his hand and controlling the LOS he will be a dawg in a year or two.

IF we get Justus Terry that makes 3 and Terry would likely be a day 1 rotational player like Mbouma.
