🏈 AL A BAM A vs Okie Part II

My thoughts on this game are completely different than the past game with UGA. For some reason, I have a pretty good feeling about coming out with a win in Norman. Don't ask me why, it's just a gut feeling (probably something I ate) but that's my story and I am sticking with it for now.

What do we have to do different than the game played in BDS?
1. Get off the field on 3rd down.
2. Do not give up a big play such as a pick 6 or blocked field goal/punt.
3. Win the field position. That is going to be tough with our lack of a good punt game.
4. Score points when we get the opportunity, be a TD, FG or a defensive TD.
5. Have just a little success with the run game.
6. CRG and company must put in some short, quick hitting passing routes. Stick, Mesh, Slants, Screens, etc...
7. Ty has to make better decisions with his passes.
8. OL to perform better than they have in the last two games.
I love what you’re saying @alabama mike. With the trend of the last few games, barring the eastern il, I’m not sure the Oline can improve that much to protect Ty. I have never seen an Alabama team not able to run the ball !

Well. Nobody should expect anything different then what this team is.
A...we cannot run the ball
B...the D is terrific
C...TY is...or can be...awesome
D...we are banged up....but healing..isit soon enough?
E...we will have drops...
F....we will piss away a few series
G...we wont look when special teams are on the field
H....HC KD will have a perplexed look some of thetime...
I.....TY will get hot...and have a few great series....
J....There will be plenty of talk about beating same team twice
K....Oklahoma and venerales will dial up shit on TY
M...Oklahoma will not worry about us beating them running the ball
N...mateer will suck...
O...this game will come down to....who f@@kes the pooch most

And on n on....

I like the matchup........friday night football....Roll Tide

Good stuff

The meltdown after OU beats us is going to make the lost to UGA appear minor. Hope we win but this bunch is running up the hill.

I am more interested in what Kalen is going to do to upgrade his staff once the game is done. Retaining all would with the exception of the WR coach would be a concern.

And here I thought Mando was the one who looked at yards and not points!
Only for defense/offense rushing game and not per play :).

BTW I am with @Brandon Van de Graaff on this one and said as much after the game against OU. Except for turnovers Bama played well against OU. Of course turnovers matter but what they did against OU had me a lot more optimistic than the debacle against UGA and even the Barn for that matter,

Both defenses are neck and neck good. Bama with a slightly better offense (at this point). OU with a special teams and FG kicker advantage. Bama fewer penalties and +9 over OU in turnover margin.

Flipped the location which gives OU the home field advantage.... December in Norman could be interesting.. With that said if they play how they did in game one but w/o turnovers they likely win. Unfortunatelty with injuries and how they played the last two games it is going to be a challenge to do so.

We should have the turnover advantage, but not so fast! We’ve played Oklahoma twice in the last 13 months. Alabama with 6 turnovers. Oklahoma with 1. We had 3 in each game against them.

They definitely have the special teams advantage. Even UNA would at this point.

Was talking about season comparison, but yes, they've had Bama's number the last 2 meetings.

5 to 7 yards down the field and not 35 yards. JMO but the fact someone that knows the QB position and has done very well in college has to bring light to just how bad our passing game is today is a giant red flag.

As far as the running game. That door is closed for this year. Bama had a complete failure by this staff in their evaluation of what they had on this roster (Nick as well). We don't have a RB that can make folks pay. #26 ain't it but you damn sure understand those behind him sure ain't it.
