I'm thinking LSU will get the win. BAMA will fall out of the top-12 CFP rankings and we won't be able to get back in. So they'll miss out on both the SECCG and the CFP. And honestly.

Yes, I'll be upset about that. But it's DeBoer's 1st year and I always give 1st-yeasr coaches a pass. A lot of people seem to forget that in Coach Saban's 1st year, BAMA lost to LSU. Mississippi St, Louisiana Monroe, and Auburn in the final 4 games of the season (also lost to UGA and Florida St earlier that season).

I’m always taken aback when I see the comparison between Saban's first season and DeBoer’s. Shula’s recruiting wasn’t even in the same hemisphere as Saban’s so the rosters were completely different even with the defections. Now, I’ll certainly give DeBoers a first season pass but he was given the keys to a Ferrari. Saban wasn’t … to claim otherwise does a disservice to the greatness of Saban and what he orchestrated in short order.

SO glad I was wrong. And I'm SO proud of the way the guys played tonight. They showed up to prove a point and to send a message. And I think that message was "Crowd noise isn't an issue if there's no crowd".

It seemed like those4 crazy Cajuns were heading for the exits by halftime.

I watch the games without Crimson-colored glasses. And I'm not arrogant enough to think that BAMA will win every game. And I have no problem writing (or typing, as it were) it out for all to see. But I'm also human enough to admit when I'm wrong. And in this instance, I was wrong.
