Wasn't sure where to post this, but not surprising, but kind of surprising. Shane Beamer would not let his transfers play in the bowl game. "Hard No" he was quoted in saying. I can't recall at the moment, but I saw where some coaches aren't allowing it, but some are. I think you let the guys play if they want, in efforts of them honoring their seasonal commitment, but it shows a lot about their character to turn that opportunity down as another chance to showcase their abilities, practice with their teammates, and enjoy the festivities that come with a bowl game. It was nice of Saban to offer them that chance, but it also shows they quit on their teammates well before this.
