Consider it being more of a realist than old bad habits. I wish Georgia got beat by Georgia Tech, and I damn sure hope they get spanked by us. I never want Kirby or my family to feel the joy of a National Championship. Pretty mean, but that's how much I despise Georgia and their fans.
It is definitely a different world seeing it from the outside. I was never a cocky Georgia fan, though I was all in on them as a kid. The defeat in the program is real. It was hard being a Georgia fan year after year, built up by your own fanbase to expectations you can't reach in reality, so I understand their disdain for other winning teams. I never understood the arrogance though. It's one thing for Ohio State to have that mentality over Michigan lately, but Georgia hasn't really owned anyone outside of Auburn lately. So I'll never get the arrogance, although I think it comes from alumni with deep pockets and raising a drunken youth that lives on momma and daddy's credit cards while in college and having no repercussions for their actions. That can be found anywhere, but Athens is full of entitlement from Buckhead, Augusta, Macon, Savannah, and other big cities on the East Coast flocking for that Terry College of Business degree. They're all worthless and pathetic my friend.
