ESPN names the Top 60 QB’s from the 2000’s yet AJ’s not on the list. The players were to be ranked based upon their college performances without consideration of how they fared in the NFL. So, I find it hard to believe a QB with above average stats and three rings ... two of them as the starting QB ... didn’t show up.

I would not say the 3 NC rings automatically gets you on this list. Think about it if that is the case there are others on those teams that also have 3 NC rings. Does not mean they are the best at their position.

Beyond that should AJ be on the list based on his production? I certainly think so.

Natty's aside, the guy was a machine his last two years. He knew the offense like the back of his hand and where everyone should be. If not for the Kick Six miracle, he 3-Peats. Not usually one to say 'what if', but still to this day the absolute luckiest of miracles I have seen. That being said, he utilized his team, was very efficient, and he was a winner plain and simple. Not as strong of an arm as Mac, but the two are very comparable even with different offensive schemes
