During the broadcast of Sunday's game between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles, FOX's Troy Aikman told a story about former Alabama quarterback and NFL Hall of Famer Bart Starr.
"Bart Starr lives in Birmingham, Alabama. I had two surgeries by Dr. James Andrews during my career. Both times I went to the hospital there, Bart Starr was there to greet me and just wanted to say hello and welcome me to his town. He's a real gentleman and I wish him well," detailed Aikman.
A native of Montgomery, Starr played at Alabama from 1952-1956. He was drafted by Green Bay in the 17th round of the 1956 NFL Draft and led the Packers to two Super Bowl titles.
