🧑‍🍳 Aight. This caught my attention. "Loaded Baked Potato Salad."

I am sitting here wondering why I haven't done this. I make loaded baked potatoes often: three times a month, at least. I make potato salad on occasion.

This is so many things in that video I do...but never thought about putting it together.

And, FWIW, he's right. Potato salad's base needs to be sour cream.

Tried it but prefer German potato salad or traditional southern.

I tend to rotate depending on what it's a side for ... with grilled sausage I want German. Hamburgers? Southern. Seafood? Sour cream.

It's one of those "you can do a lot with chicken" deals. There's a lot of different things you can do with potato salad...a lot like pasta. 🙃

@Krimson you made me look.

I could start listing them, but it's easier this way. I don't have any ravioli noodles. But, from something as simple as spaghetti to farfalle. I didn't count: at least a dozen different types. 'bout like your grits order...

I probably only have spaghetti and eat potato salad 5 or 6 times a year. Same though on the pairing, depends on the main but I'd rather have baked than loaded salad.

As would I.

This is a twist I've never considered. I'm interested, and somewhat embarrassed in the point I hadn't thought about it before.

This has been on my mind for days...so, couldn't resist, been speaking German for the last hour. "NINE!" It's basically traditional althought I did dice the last part of some smoked sausage and mixed that in ... threw some sour cream in as well. Tasty.

Got four chops in brine right now; 'about an inch thick, hand sized, boneless. These jokers are going to get seared, then baked in the ol' cast iron skillet tonight.
