🏈 After the Arky game, I think our D got back to being nasty

Alot of blitzing tonight, and it was very effective. Arky probably opened our eyes to being aggressive, as we first began doing that at halftime last year.

Im glad Brantly didnt get hurt, but I am also glad we knocked the crap out of him. I wouldnt be surprised if it turns out he has a broken rib or two. Those kinds of hits was something that we did alot last year, but until today our D never seemed to have that kind of physicality.

Man, am impressed with our linebackers. Courtney Upshaw was in the backfield allnight, and we have two different linebackers have interceptions, one for a pick six. That Mosley guy is going to be special, I can already tell. That kids got some wheels, as I didnt expect him to outrun people like he did when he took that pick to the house. If he gets to the point where he can shed blockers, itll be something to watch him blitz.

Now as far as the secondary, good lord Dre. He is all over people, and I dont know what the INT lead in the SEC is right now, but I am sure he is going to be battling for it. Hes going to be a staple guy on the D b next year.

Milner seems to be making mistakes, no doubt its lack of experience though as most know he has alot of raw ability.

I was just happy about the licks, penetration, blitzes, and pressure generated with or without blitzing today. jjIm missing alot of people to brag on, so I hope people can help me with that.

Dareus went back into beast mode. They had to double him all night and still he was making plays. Barron had a great game too as well as Nico. We got a TON of pressure on Brantley but still we missed some gimme sacks (Sentimore on one occasion should have ripped Brantley's head off but missed the sack completely). Redzone D was incredible tho.

He should have ended John Brantley on that play. WHIFF.

Oh I forgot to mention that our LBs came up with three of our four turn overs. Two interceptions that swung the game since I believe they both resulted in points for us, and one took points from them.

Was that the play that Brantley got hurt on? I'm thinking he would have been better off if he'd been hit by Dareus. He's going to feel the "sandwich" much worse...
It was indeed sentimore, but I think where the sandwiich mightvve broken a rib, that hit by sentimore he dodged wouldve given him a concussion from the whiplash he would have gotten. It wouldve been an AWESOME hit though, but yea.
