🏈 After ankle injury, Jalen returns to see action against The Citadel

Why everything has to be about Boz.... SMH.
Oh come come... that's some funny crap I posted... I mean, right after the Boz info of Tua having surgery on his knee... I mean come on...

To be fair, I have nothing against Boz... we are on an anonymous message board... there is no way to prove anything that anyone says. I just used his name because of his latest "insider" info on Tua having surgery that appears to not have been true....

Yikes, hopefully this is quick. Bad timing for this but thats how the cookie crumbles sometimes.

Weird, you would think an "insider" with "sauces" would be the one to break this sort of thing...

This is from the Andrews group.

Great Video and explanation of the procedure. However he said running in 10 days and back to normal in 3-4 weeks

True, but wasn't specifically speaking of Jalen. We'll just have to wait and see. I've not heard anything that gives me reason to think 3/4 weeks.

We'll get a better indicator by the end of the week I suspect...or should say expect.

Jalen is returning to the practice field today in limited duty--starts throwing and moving around in the pocket today.
My hope is that Tua and team put LSU away in the 1st half and Tua takes one drive in the 3rd and turns it over to Mac to hand the ball off and run clock. I'd prefer to not see Jalen at all for this matchup if possible. I rather he can heal an additional week.

You're playing very well today. I am scared to death of this game....

Why?

Can we lose it... sure. But, I don't think LSU can "beat" us, we'd have to "lose" it and I don't see this team doing that.

By lose it, I mean we'd have to turn the ball over... drop passes... have stupid penalties...

Same. And I love that package they use with both on the field at the same time (and it would probably be handy this week) but I would rather not see that at all this week.

I understand the folks wanting to "save" Jalen and if he isn't ready obviously don't play him, but if he is ready this is one of those games where the Tua/Jalen package could be used early while emotions are running high for lsu. A big play from those 2 could go a long way toward knocking the wind out of the tiger sails.

That's the thing, though. It's hard for me to imagine a QB, let alone a mobile QB, is good to go a week after having a procedure done on an ankle. If he is? Cool, use him. If he's not 100%, let him rest. Let's not forget Tua also has a knee that is a bit gimpy already. Losing one would be bad enough, losing both would be catastrophic for this team.

Sooooooo..... you guys told me I was crazy and wrong when I said Jalen would not be able to play in the LSU game. My original post that was edited said he probably would not be ready possibly till playoffs......You guys believe me now? He couldn't even hardly walk much less run. I would be shocked if he was even ready for Auburn. If Tua gets hurt we could be in big trouble.
