Hmmm. You know, I genuinely try to keep an open mind on things, but I need to challenge the argument in point one. All natural mammalian females are provided with the equipment necessary to produce an egg and provide a place for the fertilized egg to develop during gestation. They are also provided mammary glands. All natural mammalian males are provided with the equipment to produce and deliver sperm to fertilize those eggs. Of course there are natural exceptions; platypus, birth defects, etc.
While both natural males and females have both estrogen and testosterone, the "normal" natural ranges of those hormones in both is distinctly different. In reading about trans females, it is clearly recognized that they don't have a uterus or ovaries and don't have a monthly bleeding cycle and therefore don't technically menstruate, but they try to equate other physiological and psychological symptoms as a "period."
Of course, those that go through the full process including surgeries have a protocol of heavy hormone treatments because they don't produce them naturally.
I'm not going to get involved with condemning someone who "identifies" a certain way. Live and let live; none of my business. However, if someone were to ask my opinion about certain circumstances, I will give it where appropriate. In this case, I think what is happening is that the ACLU is trying to feed the public the narrative that psychological/mental characteristics are equal to physiological characteristics and I'm afraid I have to disagree about that.
