🏈 Aaron Murray has torn ACL

Happened yesterday versus Kentucky.

He will have surgery on it on Tuesday.

You hate to see a player hurt like that, especially (from what I've heard) a good guy. Apparently he wanted to go back into the game after getting injured.

He was the only remaining QB for the SEC eastern division teams that hadn't been hurt this season. Such a strange season for injuries.

During his career, he's taken some of the most vicious hits, and remained in the game, that i've seen. A real player. I hope he rebounds well and gets a shot in the league.

All those hits add up and eventually your body just breaks down. It was bound to happen. Georgia has had the most awful luck in regards to injuries this year, from their best wide out getting injured celebrating to both of their tailbacks getting seriously injured, now this. Add to that one of the worst defenses in the SEC and you have the 2013 season for Georgia.

A good friend with whom I work is a UGA alum. He hates it for Murray that he came back for this kind of a screwed up season, but for the program this injury has a silver lining because it helps Richt find his future QB.
