Roll Tide! :a::a:

I'm happy with the season thus far. 9-3 with losses to some good conference teams. The worst surprisingly given to us by a South Carolina team that played by far its best game ever.

For those of you calling for coaching changes, I wish I could type what I truly feel to you, but I was raised better than that. Players still have to execute the things coaches tell them. Its humans on the field, not robots.

With a win in the bowl game, we have the potential to go 10-3.

Its sad when a season this good gets this much flak from fans.

I've been a Bama fan since birth and I'lll be one until I die.

A lot of Alabama fans have sky-high expectations. That makes it tough to be a player or coach here.

I completely agree expectation are always sky high. Its WHY we love the Crimson Tide and why we cheer so adamantly for them. But you always have to be mature enough to handle when things fall short.

And leadership, I absolutely agree there. McClain is sorely missed on the defensive side of the ball. No one really stepped up to fill that leadership void.

We'll see how things play out this year in the bowl game and see how they carry that in to next year's season.

RTR!

Well, yes, we definitely have to be mature and get over losses, no matter how heart-breaking they are--like the one yesterday. But at the same time, just as Coach Saban instills, you can't be satisfied with 10 wins and 3 losses, you gotta work to make the losses wins, that's why we're bama fans, cuz we are competitive and can't stand losing. You'll never be a champion if you are "satisfied" with 10 wins. You have to have sky high expectations, that and not ever being satisfied is what makes greatness. But of course, at the same, time life does go on, and there's always next season when a certain QB at the Barn won't be there... And, in addition, I think everyone on this thread is already aware of what I just said, but come on... telling everyone you're pleased with this season?? We frankly didn't come close to reaching our goals and expectations, even the ones put out by the skeptics...

If I was actually on the field, I would expect to have the attitude of NEVER being satisfied with even a single loss. But, since I'm neither a player or coach, as a fan, I have to find something to be happy about with the season and not rant and dwell on something I literally have no control over. Fans everywhere should take that to heart and you would be much happier after a loss instead of breaking down into someone that irritates the hell out of people.

Dont be this guy...

A friend of mine that is a Bama fan said today that he's disappointed the preseason promise wasn't fulfilled but it wasn't too long ago that he would've cut off his near and dear parts for a 10-3 season (yes, we're assuming you destroy the Big 10 team in the Cap. One Bowl). Loads of youth that gained a ton of experience on this team, the importance of which cannot be overstated. Bama's schedule sets up very, very nicely next year. Trips to Happy Valley, The Swamp and Jordan-Hare are nothing to scoff at but Florida still hasn't found their identity and I don't see PSU being worlds better than this year. The rest of the big boys have to come to your house. It is natural to feel some level of disappointment but there is a lot of promise on this team. If all your big boys come back in lieu of declaring eligible, this team becomes very scary. Dre is poised to become one of the best cover corners in the SEC--add Barron, Lester and Milliner with another year of experience and you easily have the best secondary in the league. Loads of talent at LB, just needs time to develop.

10 wins is a quality season.. we were competative in every game.. i think we were just a little short on the leadership this year
I agree totally the leadership on our team graduated last year. I do believe next year squad will not suffer the same fate as this years.

I just dont understand how you can possibly say you can be anything close to "happy" after a loss... I mean "you have literally no control over it?" Just don't go to the games then, don't even watch-- it's not like you can make a difference, just check out the score later, if we won, yay, if not, well who cares... Let me tell you how great of a fan you are. To restate, get over the loss, don't dwell on it forever, but please, for God's sake, don't be satisfied with losing... And by all means, DO NOT BE THAT GUY! LOL

I said I was happy with the season. Believe me, I am never happy after a loss. But am I going to sink in a morass of despair and depression over us not going undefeated? No. Absolutely not.

I'll continue to go to games, both live and watching on TV, screaming as loud as anyone. But in the end result I'd rather not join the band wagon of downing every single thing that can be blamed for a loss.

Classy response. Someone tries to be complimentary of your team and you feel compelled to resort to trying to take a dig.

I will refrain from stooping to your level
:panic:That' about as classy as your DO NO WRONG Qb did after the game huh? I hope yall get caught and kicked out of the sec. Like i said, barners didnt beat us, we beat ourselves and from me,thats as good as you're gonna get. Hope the gamecocks make yall look like a pee-wee team in Atl.
