šŸˆ A phrase I'm already tired of hearing ... Thunder and Lightening.

How about...Henry and Drake?

Overall I am not a fan of media assigned nicknames. Something like "Nudie" or "Shank" etc that is already theirs or is team given is fine but all the rest is bullshit IMO

I give my kids, grandkids etc nicknames all the time but usually they are ironic nicknames or just some heathen nonsense that I make up

First thing I thought about when I saw this thread, that movie The Rundown with Sean William Scott and Dwayne Johnson.

I don't mind the term, but this clearly this shows how little creativity these commentators have. Cornbread and Corndog...now we're talking.

Hell, I was worn out hearing it for weeks leading up to the Clemson game in ATL in 2008.

Seriously. Why does everything have to have a cliche'? And if it does, can we at least here something new?!?!

Thunder and lightning: Alabama beat reporters analyze the Tide running backs

I was at that game... kid next to me talked all pre-game warm ups about how "Thunder" and "Lightning" were going to light it up against us... somewhere near half time I leaned over to him and said "good thing we're in a dome"... he did laugh and turned out to be a pretty level headed Clemson fan.
