I'm going to assume, for lack of being able to come up with another reason mixed with some gracious thoughts this Sunday, this is because some schools don't get nationwide exposure when they receive a verbal commitment.

Even still, in my eyes, it reeks of desperation: "Please, look at us!"

This trend? Using "key words" on Twitter to announce when a school receives a verbal. Kentucky and Washington are two schools where it's become commonplace.

Key Word "Yahtzee."

YAHTZEE! #WeAreUK RT @UKCoachStoops: It’s a beautiful day in Lexington! Give me another YAHTZEE!!!!

He's still at it.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p>YAHTZEE…..let’s keep it rolling. <a href="http://t.co/QlBfsRhN83">pic.twitter.com/QlBfsRhN83</a></p>&mdash; Mark Stoops (@UKCoachStoops) <a href="https://twitter.com/UKCoachStoops/statuses/347164763077365760">June 19, 2013</a></blockquote>

And then you have this.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Saban doesn't have a catchy phrase on twitter when he gets a commit, I imagine he kisses one of his rings &amp; goes into a 5 minute evil laugh</p>&mdash; The SEC Logo (@SEC_Logo) <a href="https://twitter.com/SEC_Logo/statuses/347172643377655810">June 19, 2013</a></blockquote>
