I'm going to assume, for lack of being able to come up with another reason mixed with some gracious thoughts this Sunday, this is because some schools don't get nationwide exposure when they receive a verbal commitment.
Even still, in my eyes, it reeks of desperation: "Please, look at us!"
This trend? Using "key words" on Twitter to announce when a school receives a verbal. Kentucky and Washington are two schools where it's become commonplace.
Key Word "Yahtzee."
