šŸˆ A little off-topic. Where do you plan to watch the game? With whom?

And even more off-topic why does the Rose Bowl still get the preferential treatment they do? I realize the 5PT ET start is a long standing tradition with the game. When I weigh that against all the folks who talk about selections are made for TV audience it makes no sense to have a game on the east coast kicking off close to nine and a game on the west coast kicking off at 2PM their time. Logic tells me it should be switched.

As for me and my house, I'll be staying within the confines of my house. You
?

There's one thing very few places offer; the ability to rewind the game as it's live. That's one of the reasons I'll likely watch this game at home. I might venture over to a friends house but ONLY if he lets me control the remote.

UGA v OU ... likely watch that one at a local watering hole with a few UGA fans.

O so close to buying up the 180$ tickets....and going with relatives in Baton Rouge..( a game at BD with Tide Pride added are over 100$ each)....but .....
Me n MS50+ will sit back...at the house...close to the beer and ribs...and bathroom....to late for any friends n family to be over..:bman::bamadance:
Agree with :agree: 12gage...stupid to have the east game late and earlier game out west...the Rose Bowl is in same category as Notre Dame, newspapers, milk delivery, doctors housecalls.....get with the times and move on...(although some of those have done so.. the others need to)...
anyway....right here...cheering the Tide...

Of course, the "rose bowl" wasn't the "rose bowl" when we played in the "rose bowl" but didn't we play Texas in the evening game?

Gonna watch the Georgia game at my dad's (all Georgia fans, sister's go there).

Coming home and watching our boys play. Weird that a younger guy would do this, but I have grown accustomed over the past few years to watching the games in my bed with a blanket over me and focusing. I absolutely hate outside noise and being bothered when we play. Never go to bars or othets' houses, because I don't like talking or having to mind my manners. Can do it with any other team, but like to focus when we play.

Same place for the last three years! Room 104 @ the Key West Inn. :bman:

The "Rose Bowl" that year was OSU vs Oregon which was at the normal kick time. And yes, night kick on that one. (I don't regret taking the 1/8 off that year.

I don't have cable so I'm at the mercy of whoever doesn't mind my loud self being all up in their house.

So this is for you too, doc.

These next 2 games aren't about Alabama winning the NC, it's about me emotionally surviving the process. My family and friends have long ago learned to find their own space on gamedays of this magnitude. Nothing personal, you see, but me and my TV will be intensely engaged in a highly combustible mind meld.
