As previously posted, UA players' parents received word from the Athletic Department they would begin "returning" tomorrow (6/4.) There are several players already in town working out including Mac and Bryce.
I went to the playoff game at Jerry World against Michigan State several years ago, met @planomateo there and chatted a bit. My buddy and I were in the upper deck. Sight lines, in my view, pale in comparison to Atlanta. Also, don't let the monster screen suck you in. I had to get in the routine of watching the game live on the field and then watching the replay on the screen. Many times, the camera following the action that was on the screen would lose track of the action and you'd be forced to then refocus on the field.
I accomplished my goal of watching Bama play a game at Jerry World. Probably won't do it again.
I'm not a fan of the Cowboys Stadium. I've probably been there a dozen times if I had to guess. The giant screen is a huge distraction. But if you've never been, worth going to once.
It's an experience. I was there for the Michigan game. There isn't much of anything around the stadium so plan on eating before you go or inside the stadium. Parking is mucho expensive ($50+). You can get a parking pass beforehand so that you know where you're parking before you go. However, this doesn't give you a discount. Inside is nice with few narrow corridors to slow traffic. The video board is amazing and distracting. You'll watch the play on the field, then look up for the replay. It's so damn big that you forget to look back on the field for the next play. It's likely they you'll watch several plays on the video board before you look back at the field.
Is it worth it? To say you've been is a badge of recognition.
All this is why....i like outdoor stadiums...that muffed noisegenerated in doors is irritating....
And i dont care for the big video boards.....
...but if you got thecoins...probably be worth a one time shot...

There are some things on the north side of the stadium now that are within easy walking distance. I always park on the east side as it allows me to bypass the traffic escaping the place. There aren't many options on the south side of I-30.
