📝 A good recruiting synopsis for the Tide's '19 class. What do you folks think?

That was good to have all that data on this class. I used to be a recruiting junkie but since Saban I had quit watching it so close. After this last signing day though I vowed to get more into it again so I am not so disappointed in results. I know we had a tone of things working against us in last years class but we need to come back with a vengeance or the scuttlebutt will be that we are on the decline.

I agrew with everyone else, awesome stuff. Thank you for posting. Knowing our targets this early in the process, for 2019, is a leg up.

Crouch is a guy I want the most. Rivals has him at #1. After everything I have read, the guy is a monster. They are saying Henry-esque on offense with more potential than Dylan Moses on defense. Now what does that say about the guy? I would love to steal him from Clemson and the ACC. We need to go after him big time.

I am not one is enamored in the high school football game (culture drives me nuts), but I still have a bit of bias here. I beg to differ. Lia is something else! His passes are usually ropes and delivered right between the numbers.

4* (#178, #6 PRO) Taulia Tagovailoa: Taulia is not quite as talented as Tua but is pretty close:

I wonder about the recruiting strategy this time around. I have no doubt that the longer you wait on recruits the more quality that may entail. But what did we learn? I still like the idea of getting the hay in the barn and then going after a few strays that need a little help to get back to the herd. It would be nice to have about 20 signed after the first go-round.

The early signing day makes it worth watching again. At the same time, it's even more convoluted than it was two years ago. See Bobby Brown.

One thing I do know. Saban knows who has an offer. Right? The rest is white noise...

Now. That being said...

I've learned the number is something like a half of a dozen scholly's left after the ESD. The last minute guys, ya know? That being said that number may have changed this morning.

All my attention has been on spring camp. It's been interesting to see the recruits that have attended. I like the idea of them getting a first hand look. (JUCO guys, specifically, this spring.)
