🏈 A drive for the ages; this year's championship building game

It seems that every national championship winning team in recent memory has had to overcome at least one game that looked like the lights were out and a major gut check (or a little bit of luck) was required to finish the job. Maybe the stats column wasn't the greatest and maybe the result was even a loss, but that particular game was a defining moment. Florida had the Ole Miss game, which they lost but which drove them to new levels of performance, we had the TN game in '09, Auburn actually had several scares in 2010 but their comeback against us was probably the most defining. Last year at this time, we lost this game, but kept plugging away and won the NC. I belive this year, this LSU game was that game for us; the defining moment, the proof of the never quit attitude and the overcoming of extreme adversity despite the stats column. It was also the game where AJ secures his place among Bama's best - super cool, always calm and composed, when the team needed it most, he pulls out a flawless clutch performance and drive. And, oh, our newest super-back, TJ (whom many are comparing to Eddie George and even being better) had alot to do with it as well.

I know some are worried about a let-down against TAMU. I think we are past that now. This team knows now what it takes and knows that it has what it takes - under all circumstances. I think this team now fully appreciates how close they were to the loss and will do everything in their power to stay on their game and TAMU is the next in line.

I am really liking this year's team more and more and respect this team deeply. They are making their own history right now and I know it will continue.
