I'm enjoying the game. I'm an OSU fan, but I respect and follow Bama. Bama_girl12 is my lady and we'll be heading down to tailgate next year most likely.

I love T-Rich. He's amazing, and Ingram wouldn't have done what he did last year without Richardson, IMO. The two headed monster this year is more experienced and slightly bigger. The loss of Mike Johnson will hurt, but so far it doesn't look bad.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Marcel Dareus blow up this season. He's going to be a top 15 pick in the draft when he comes out. He's truly a stud, and is that Richard Seymour type player as a 34 DE.

I'm pretty excited to have Hightower back, and also watch Dre Kirkpatrick man a corner spot. Dre just had an INT off a terrible McElroy pass.

McCaron doesn't look bad for a freshman, but he needs a lot of work. Grounding, throwing the ball 2 yards over the line, and a few pretty bad passes, but he's just a freshman, and will improve.

I'm enjoying listening to 5 straight minutes worth of conversation regarding how Joe Paterno looks, how good or not good Virginia Tech is, followed by the same conversation re Boise State. Lest we no forget a few minutes on how good AU looked. Some Bama talk during the Bama spring game would be great.

That's what you get when Craig James and worthless Mark May are broadcasting.

Craig James is still crying over his son being terrible at football and hating Mike Leach.

Mark May is busy deciding this year if he wants to revert his hate back to Bama now that they won something, and lay off Ohio State. (which he did say OSU was the team to beat. :D )

Fulton. Millner, Lacy, McCarron, Drake (Dre K.) Fowler, and Simms were al really impressive to me today. Fulton especially, that was some great man coverage. the guys wo we know are good didnt impress me, but thats only because I am used to see great things from them.

Though I wonder if I am the only one who thinks Mark Ingram is a little faster this year.

McCarron is sure going tto be good, but he does have a few issues to work out. Hes a little to eager to make the big play, and ends up letting it loose whenever he reads one on one, despute the one on one coverage being outstanding at times. His good arm saved him from the INT today, but it wont always do that. But, he does have good pocket presence like gmac.

Just need to work on pass blocking and punting, I hope it starts taking alot of focus. On the flipside though, we have a good pass rush.

Upshaw hasn't missed a beat it seems. He was unblockable for a good stretch of the game. I am wondering if it's a great pass rush or poor pass protection....or maybe a mix of both?!?

I thought McCarron looked real good. Especially in the second half. I couldn't believe Julio dropped one again. Marcel is unblockable. I thought Fluker did fairly well also as did Chance. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at how the first team D did. IT's going to take take on a very different personality without Cody and McClain, but that doesn't mean it can't be dominant. I think Marcel is going to be a complete stud, we just need Chapman and Davis and Ming and Co. to be adequate and the line will be fine. Upshaw was VERY impressive and Jerrell Harris made a few plays and with Dont'a the LB crew should be as good as last year OVERALL - even with no Ro. I was really hoping Tana Patrick would break into the first team, but... Now, the secondary - potentially our weakest spot. However, Dre and Mark played well. BJ Scot - so, so. Did anyone else really stand out to anyone from the first team? Fulton looked good on the second team and I thought DeMarcus played well at times also but still a bit raw. Alot can happen between now and opening weekend.

I missed the 3rd qtr so correct me if I am wrong but I didn't see much out of the TEs yesterday. Was it because of the play calling? I know basic offense was used in the game and really doesn't reflect next season's plays...

I remember Smelley dropping a couple, Sims threw to Michael Williams a couple of times too, though neither was a completion. Dial started for the Red Team, but I don't think he was thrown to.

I really, really, really hope we've got a punter coming on campus in the fall. I saw one punt all day go over 25 yards.
