HUNTSVILLE - The University of Alabama landed its second commitment in as many days when Huntsville High School offensive lineman Grant Hill gave a verbal pledge to Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban.

ā€œThat’s where I belong,ā€ Hill said. ā€œI can see myself going to Alabama. I feel like they will develop me better than any other school as both a person and a football player. I feel like the coaches are the best fit for me."

Hill visited Tuscaloosa on Saturday for Alabama’s junior day over the weekend where he spent the majority of the day with UA offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland.

Yawn. How many 2014 commitments do we have?Seriously, we could have the next class all tied up in a bow by the end of this school year. (May have it already and it just isn't public.)

It's early...

BUT.

247 has Bozeman listed as a high 3* right now. His point total right now is 89, 90 is the bump to four stars.

Point is...all of the nine on Rivals? 4 or 5 stars. I've mentioned 247.

We have a couple of the nine that aren't in the 150 watch list on ESPN.

SHM...

2013>2012>2008?!?!?!?!?

I'm going to hand write a note to Saban and tell him we need to get a verbal from someone no one knows about.

Barton Simmons, national recruiting analyst for 247, posted this a little bit ago.

This fall I went to Huntsville to see Cameron Toney shortly after Alabama had offered him. Even though I came to see Toney, I left really impressed with Grant Hill.

Kudos to Shane Youngblood for alerting me to him before the game but he would've been easy to spot had Shane not mentioned him.
The kid is absolutely massive. He's the type of kid that you don't even really realize how big he is because he's well-proportioned and everything is thick. In other words, he doesn't look as long as he really is. He's almost like a square cube of a human being. Big tree trunk legs, big hands, a barrell chest.
He's extremely strong, manhandles opponents but most impressive to me was his ability to bend at the knees, keep his back flat, show great flexibility.
He's a phenomenal thrower in track which takes a lot of coordination and athleticism and that shines through on the football field.
To me, he's just a country-strong kid that has a chance to be a real stalwart on the offensive line.
When I took his picture after the game, he couldn't even figure out why I wanted to take a picture. I don't think he is that in tune with the national recruiting coverage and that kind of thing. He's just a strong tough kid that blocks what you put in front of him.

Put that last paragraph next to the story about Neal who stood up those kids today and announced for ND.

You know, I could get use to this.

His video looked pretty impressive and Huntsville is 6A. I'm not too sure which schools he's beating up on in the video, but he made it look easy.
