so does this change our conf scheduling in the future?

this whole line of thinking just kills me. If I go back and look at the last 10 winners of the Big-Ten or Pac-10, USC won 70% of the time (either by themselves or shared). The Big-Ten Ohio State has won or shared 70% of the time as well, which to me shows exactly how non-competitive their football programs are in the conference.

So now their excuse for mediocrity is the bruining conference schedule that they play. That's the best one I've heard all day. Other than stanford and oregon, just which of their teams does he think would have any shot at beating Mississippi Statel.

I had a USC trojans fan tell me that if the SEC didn't play such powder puff OOC, I said, Bama has played BCS conf teams the last 3 years and smoked them all - two of them were projected to win their conf that year (Va Tech / Clemson).

also mentioned that any time one team wins the conference 60-70%...pretty much tells you what kinda competition the conf has - told him that adding another in conf games wouldn't prove they are any better in my opinion. couldn't help but wonder if this is how the other conferences are trying to counter the SEC stronghold on the BCS crystal.

Its always somebody elses fault why you cant win championships. Ive said it before...so many times....im still amazed that an SEC team can even make it to the Championship game given the competition within the conference.... This article is :bsflag:
